Imagine that you are born in a small hut with no running water, no electricity, no bathroom. Imagine that your mother has 5 children and no job. You have never met your father. If you eat, it is one meal a day. If you get sick there is no health care that your family can afford. You have a 60% chance of starting school, a 45% chance of making it to the 6th grade and only a 15% chance of graduating from High School. If you are one of the lucky ones who finish High School there is a very slim possibility that you will be able to afford college and there are few good jobs for you unless you have a college degree.
This is the grim reality that most people in Haiti are faced with daily. The people of Haiti are not dumb or lazy. They don’t want to be illiterate, or not go to school. They just need a Hand. They need Hope. That is what God called us to. He has called us to give Hope to the Nation of Haiti. We are doing that through the School, Church, Orphanage, and Hospital. Lives are being transformed, children are finishing school and being rescued from the streets.

Why is there a need for Team of Hope?
- There are still 400,000 children without parents in Haiti. These children are left alone to fend for themselves on the streets.
- There are still over 17,000 children in our area that will never go to school. They have healthy minds but no money for school.
- There are still thousands that donít know the love, peace, forgiveness, and hope found in Jesus.
- 1 out of 5 children will die before the age of five.
